any1 benefitted from yoga?

    hi ilites,
    i have heard enough benefits of yoga from different sources , but i have never heard any1 personally telling me the bebefit which they achieved thru yoga practise ? the benefit which i think i could share is that when i was practising yoga continuously (for about a month)i got my periods normally in that particular month( which is otherwise abnormal ). i have sinusitis problem as well, can yoga cure it too? any other befits which anybody has personaly experienced?

    Yeahhhh
    I am the one among who benifitted by Yoga
    I have gained lot of weight during pregnecy and also back pain.
    Part two years i am practicing yoga
    Body pains are vanished.
    And Now i am with required weight. Now my body is very flexible.
    I am sure sinusitis problem also will go off by yoga, But donot aware of specific aasanas for that.

    I am benifited by yoga.
    I reduced my weight from 64 kgs-61 kgs.Yes sinusitis is cured by doing the following asanas:
    1.kapalbhathi pranayam- for 5 to 10 mins
    2.Anmol-vilom pranayam- for 5 to 15 mts
    3.Bramri pranayam- 3 to 5 count
    My nose was blocked unable to take breath during night times.After doing all these it got cured .It took 2 to 3 months for me to get cured completely because i stopped in the middle .I think u can see Ramdev babaji's yoga and learn them.A part from doing yoga u should keep steam for ur nose so that it will get cured soon.

    BHA can you say me which asana helped you to get relief from back pain? My DH and sis complaints abotu back pain.I can let them know and make them practice this then..

    Hi ami,

    Sorry for late reply.

    For my Back pain, I am doing the below aasanas.

    Pashchimottana san
    Matsyasan
    Bhujangasan
    Dhanurasan
    Chakrasan
    Halasan

    For the starters it may be difiicult to do these above aasanans.
    But sure they will get relief from back pain and all other body pains also.

    I dont have pictures right now for the above aasanans.
    If you know them its good, other wise pls do let me know i will try to provide.

    And add few more suggessions

    Use gingelly oil in cooking instead of other oils. it really works for body pains and Skin will never get aging effect.

    Do oil massage with gingelly oil on the spinal card or entire body before going to bath in the night. body pains will go off and get good complexion also.

    hey even 'm one among them who lost weight of 5 kgs in 15 days by practising fallowing asanas every day without fail

    suryanamaskar- 12 times
    shalabhasan -50 times(reduces the belly fat)
    chakkichalana -20 times
    chakrasan-10 times
    you can try these simple postures for back pain.:biglaugh

    also if we practise fallowing asanas everyday till ur period date starts we can get rid of irregular menstrual problems
    (note: these asanas should not be practised during your cycle days)
