Better half or best half??? Part-3

When i started walking, i was thinking whether i will see him or not. I don’t know what made me to dress beautifully today . Is it for him?

When i was thinking, i heard someone calling me ‘manu’.

I stopped walking and turned back.

While i was turning back, i thought i will see him.

My back luck, it was not him. It’s my classmate.

All my happiness vanished.

My classmate asked me “You are looking gorgeous. Are you going to attend any party?”

I replied “No, i am on my way to my friend’s home. Will see you later”

I started walking again. I heard someone calling me Manu.

I thought it was him and again happiness appeared on my face.

I turned back.

No luck this time, it was my friend’s brother.

I spoke to him for 2 minutes and left that place.

Again this time, i heard someone calling me Manu.

I thought this should be someone else not him. Thinking this i turned.

I couldn’t see anyone. I thought it was him and was searching for him. I couldn’t find him anywhere.

I turned back and saw him infront of me. I felt very happy and thrilled. A smile appeared on my face. I tried hard to hide but i couldn’t.

He asked “Are you searching for me?”

I want to tell that i was waiting to see him but i can’t tell this to him. I was thinking what to reply.

Suddenly he said “Wow Manu, you are looking gorgeous. You are looking too beautiful in this white dress”

He didn’t wait for my reply. He continued “Is white your favorite color?”

I was about to tell no but he said “My favorite color is white and we both match”

I was very thrilled when he said that we both matched.

I said “Hello, i don’t know you and you started talking to me. I don’t like to talk to strangers”.

He said “indirectly you want to know who i am. Anyways i am Ravi”.

I replied “whoever you are, I don’t want to know anything about you”.

I asked “how do you know my name?”

He replied “when you don’t want to know anything about me then why do you want to know how i know your name. It doesn’t matter. Anyways see you again”.

He corrected “sorry, you don’t want to see me. I won’t meet you again”.

He said and left that place.

My eyes become wet when he said that. I don’t want to hear this from him. I tried to look beautiful for him, only for him. But now he said that he won’t meet me again.

Thinking about him i started walking back to my friend’s home.

I was walking straight and didn’t see what is infront of me. I was about to hit a big stone and someone pulled my hand.

I realized the situation and saw who saved me from hitting the stone. It was him. When i saw him, tears rolled down from my eyes. He saw me and said “arey, watch the road while walking. Why are you crying now? You didn’t hit the stone naah. Don’t worry”

He said again “I won’t be there always to save you because you said you don’t want to meet me again”.

I feel like telling loud that i want to see him, talk to him and spend time with him but i don’t want to express my feelings because he may think that i am bad girl and longing to talk to a guy.

I said thanks and left the place. Felt very happy that i saw him again.

I reached my friend’s house thinking about him.

When my friend saw me, she was surprised and asked “Manu, you are looking gorgeous. But you don’t like white color and now you are wearing white. What made you to wear white dress today?”

She said again “arey, you put little make up also. Looking at you i feel like you are attending some party”.

I replied “nothing like that and no party. I didn’t wear this dress for long time and thought of checking it today”

She said again “OK. Anyways come in and sit. Will be back in a minute”. Said this she left and came back after a minute with a plate full of my favorite sweets and other snacks”.

I took the plate and started eating.

I was thinking about him and eating. I had a small smile on my face when i thought about him.

She asked “along with aloevera which plant you want to take”.

I replied “about what plant you are asking me”.

She said again “you said that you want to take some plants from my house and that is the reason you came to my house and now you are asking me again what plant. What happened to you?”.

Oops i remember now.

I replied “let’s go and check all plants. Whichever i like, i will take sample of that”

I took some 2-3 plants and left her home after sometime.

It became little dark and there were few lights on road.I couldn’t see many people walking. I felt little afraid and increased the walking speed. I saw 2 stray dogs coming behind me. I started shivering.

Someone was walking next to me and i held that person’s hand.
