    Hi Rupa,

Thank you for your Feed Back and complements. You can have the soup as many times as you want. Generally I will prepare and keep the soup for 2 days only.

Regarding 'reducing weight' I reduced my weight by following the G.M. Diet which i gave in another Forum. Reduce Weight without fasting. You go through and follow the same. I am giving the link here.

Please click here. Go through the full 7 posts and then start. ( post no. 51 to 57) If you can, you just take one print out and keep it in your kitchen.

    All the best.

    Hi Vinu,

What you said is correct. Actually we have to reduce in take of potato. When you take potato as a side dish it will increase your intake. But if you take it as a main food, you will get carb. through that only. so you can take. Calculate your cal. intake and reduce other carb items and take potato on that day.

Let me explain more. If you have potato curry with rice or potato chips as side dish, already you will be taking rice or chappati as full meal and you are taking potato also in the same time. So in that one meal you will cross full day cal. level. ok?

On the other hand say you are going to take potato soup and and one dried pappad with that means, you are taking one meal with only potato and your total cal. of that particular meal is less. ok?:-D

Even in GM diet they will ask you to take one big potato (Baked) and you can put a piece of butter on that. So dont worry you can take potato but not as a side dish take potato as a one time meal.
