But lo I am a staunch vegetarian and can just look into your reciepies and pass it on to my non-veg friends. Any way as you are from Kerala, I want to know one particular item. How to make the kerala type puttu and kadalai kari or kulambu whatever you call. And why to use only brown chick peas. Can you give me the recipie.

Just saw your post of Kadalai curry in Kerala dishes. Will make a note of it and try it out. It happened to get into my favourite dishes while I was in MCC as we had 98% keralites in our class

Puttu recipe is in Seethlakshmi madam's thread of palaharams. That's why I didn't post. She has given it nicely. Just follow her tips , you can make puttu and it'll come out well. She has also given one kadala curry recipe. You have three recipes there for kadala curry. Look out.

Thank you for encouraging me with my non-veg recipes, even iof you don't eat them. Now I also don't eat much, mostly only when we go out or any guests come home.
