How to know which foods suits for brain?

    First we have to know what is good food for brain that helps to make active.hence these foods have to be added in regular basis

    Beef, lean
    Brewer's yeast
    Broccoli
    Brown rice
    Brussels sprouts
    Cantaloupe
    Cheese
    Chicken
    Collard greens

    Oatmeal
    Oranges
    Peanut butter
    Peas
    Potatoes
    Romaine lettuce
    Salmon
    Soybeans
    Spinach
    Tuna
    Turkey
    Wheat germ
    Yogurt

    Fruits:

    grapefruit, apples, cherries, oranges, and grapes have a low glycemic index. Whole fruit ranks lower than juices, because fiber in the fruit slows the absorption of fruit sugar.

    Cereals and grains:

    oatmeal and bran are best. Spaghetti and rice have a relatively low GI. Corn flakes sugar-coated cereals, and white bread have higher GIs.

    Vegetables and legumes: Legumes, including soybeans, kidney beans, chick peas, and lentils are great brain foods. They have the lowest glycemic index of any food. Potatoes and carrots have a much higher GI.

    Dairy products:

    Milk products have low glycemic indexes; higher than legumes, but lower than fruits.


    Some Foods may Dull the brain power friends Most of ur without knowing this intaking it.hence to avoid confusion i have mention Bad brain foods which makes the brain dull and lazy and not even healthy.hence avoid these below foods mostly friends

    Especially bread is bad brain food,most of us take sandwiches for breakfast,nw we hav come to nw this fact.

    I have read somewhere that walnuts are good for ur brains.. (esp. with the comparision between the shape of our brain and the walnuts - the inner nut that we eat)
