Heralding the 10th Anniversary celebration of our all time favourite IL.com. we are celebrating Day 6 with special mention of Pets Forum and forums like Hobbies, Gardening & Personal Growth all under the banner of 'LIFESTYLE'.

Pets and Animals Forum is the favourite haunt of all animal lovers and pet owners ofcourse and we have had several enthusiastic members who have all been active through the years.

Special mention must be made of many of then who are regulars here and who have contributed to make our Animal Kingdom lively, vibrant and literally brimming with animal spirits!

@deepslikes:Her delightful pictures and posts about the many dogs like Spence.Spirit and Rusty for whom she has provided foster care till finding them regular homes have pride of place in the thread "Join the club -Membership free"

.@Custard: Her Dobberman group of dogs and their antics during their growing up years were a delight to follow.
@Pkrish specialised in the feline world and we got to see some great kitty cats along with @Iyerviji who had interesting anecdotes about her Cat family collection.She has posted about the pigeons who have shifted to her home lately.
Our latest new member is @Sahana who has a fascinating bunch of cats Lucy&Snowhite whose great pictures were a fascinating visual treat.

@drradha has contributed wonderful posts and lovely pictures about the lovely pedigreed dogs like the Dalmatian,Boxer and Terrier -Indie cross she adopted after they were abandoned.She had rescued a little squirrel named Jerry that she nursed back to health ,though it did not live long due to other reasons.
Speaking of squirrels we had one great fan of this species .We cannot forget . @Chitrajaraika and her endearing posts about her fascination for squirrels
Pets Forum is all inclusive and the animal kingdom also comprises our avian friends and so we had @Angellic with her cute birdies Tweety & Tweeter and how she got to invite them home.@LataMurali has a beautiful aviary at her home and a great collection of birdies too which speaks volumes for her devotion to them.

We have had members who are ardent GSD (German Shepherd ) fans .Most prominent is Iswariyadevi and her handsome CHICO .She had to find another home for him before she left for USA a few months ago .We do miss his pictures and write ups she used to post about him.Another happy GSD owner is Umssivashankar and lively JACK.He has such expressive eyes and pictures posted by Uma gives one the feeling that he is speaking to you as you view them !Nirmalasivagami's beautiful black beauty TEJA is an adorable little doggie-

She often posts on health issues that our beloved pets fall prey to .Her post on 'Hyperthyroid in elderly cats' is of great help as some of the members had discussed about this topic earlier
.Similarly @lazy http://www.indusladies.com/forums/pets-and-animal-lovers/265847-post-symptoms-of-rabies-shot.html#post3464227 had discussed 'Post symptoms of rabies shots'.It was very informative and we could zero in on the exact cause of ailment and treatment given to her little doggie.
Pets Forum is the place to visit if you love animals .Reading about pet owners and their little cutie pies is a sure way to bring a smile on your face even if you do not own a pet animal.
