Question Pooja, Thamboolam Articles

I would like to buy pooja related and thamboolam related articles when I visit India. Recently I happened to see beautiful aarthi plates (in IL) and I like those so much. I have seen North Indians having very pretty kumkum, santhanam simizh, small agal vilaku(diwali vilakku), attractive other pooja and thamboolam thattu articles. Where can I buy those in chennai? Near temples or in shops? I am not asking about the normal pooja articles sold near temple shops.

Please help me!

Thanks!

Hi Inimai,

There is a shop by name JayBee creations in Mandavelli, Chennai. They have a lot of decorated thamboolam items, kum kum boxes and lot of other cute things which we would also like to give with regular thamboolam for functions.
You may check out that shop. Recently I got it for my grahapravesham and it became a roaring success coz everything is different from the ordinary.

Happy shopping!
