Weekends are usually much awaited because of the lavish meals I can prepare Today made Carrot poricha kuzhambu, chennaikilangu fry, banana curry, mixed beans curry, pepper-jeera rasam, moor, salad, appalam and curd. It was chiraji's recipes mostly. (1) Pepper-Jeera Rasam - http://www.indusladies.com/forums/3209-post13.html (2) Raw Banana Curry - http://www.indusladies.com/forums/13949-post4.html (3) Carrot Poricha Kuzhambhu - http://www.indusladies.com/forums/4231-post50.html I had a slight variation to this. (a) Added Capsicum (b) the roasted powder had dhaniya (3) Did not have moong dhal, so ended up using masoor dal  Thanks much Chitraji... Cho chweet of you to share all these awesome recipes with us.
Was talking to Gowri today and she inspired me to make moorkootu. Got the Cabbage Moorkootu recipe from here. Was ready to start cooking, realized I have no cabbage :-( but wanted to taste moorkootu somehow. Chitraji came for my rescue. Made her chow chow moorkootu[http://www.indusladies.com/forums/179181-post162.html]. I did not have curry leaves, so it was tadka'ed with curry powder  Side dish for my favorite potato curry. Thanks Gow, will try the cabbage moorkootu soon. Thanks chitraji. It was a yummy dish.
