Oh ig, no where did i say you should not post others songs..but i only requested that let us leave this thread as carnatic music.

please go back and read what jag has writtend. you are always in a hurry to prove that you are right. sometimes it is ok to let go of things as it is. it is not always necessary to prove that we are right. and it is not a must to prove that you are right. it is your opinion stated thats all, and it is others right to accept or disagree..

just had to put my point across..nowhere i am refuting your posting the ghazals. i only wished that there will be life in the ghazals thread again..being a great ghazal fan myself.

 

I was thinking i have heard the ladies voice somewhere..and thanks buddy really love the way the kids are picking up music by osmosis and ofcourse good motivation and encouragement.

 

So, have been listening to Sri Ranjani santhangopalan. she has a great voice! It takes me a while to get used to a singer...I tend to listen to the same singers over and over again...every now and then a new song starts ringing in my ears and and youtube leads me to different artists. That's how I landed on her concerts. Loved Ganamurthi

did you check out the list that came out on friday..it is a great one..but i cannot go around. will sit at home and enjoy most of the concerts thanks to the radio, tv and youtube channels...

 

we have a new crop of singers..bharat sundar, gurucharan, nisha rajagopal, ranjani, vidya..who said classical music is dying..it has a wonderful future with such fresh talent amidst the stalwarts and with their blessings..
