Smart Strategies for Weight Loss

It needs sufficient determination, persistence and loads of motivation to keep you on track. Like any other goal, you can face many difficulties through the journey of weight loss. Getting over the hurdles can be a challenge for few while some easily get through it with good effort. You can achieve your weight loss goal if you are armed with some smart strategies. Here are five such winning strategies –

    Start with Small Goals
    : Instead of focusing on the total pounds that you want to shed in a given period, think of setting up smaller milestones down the road. This makes the goal more achievable. In addition, achieving small goals will pep you enough to reach for the next level of your goal. So, keep it small and celebrate even your smallest victories.

    Be Proud
    : Keep your confidence levels high by trusting and believing your goals. While you are at it, it is good to talk about your goals, so that you can be more accountable. Additionally, this journey of weight loss needs support from your family and friends. You will be more confident in achieving your goal if you believe and are proud in what you are doing.

    Keep Track
    : Noting down every step towards the goal will help to realize the goal easily. Tracking the number of minutes, you work out each day, servings of fruits and veggies you eat in a week, hours you put in other physical activities other than tracking the number of pounds that you lose on the scale will keep you highly motivated.

    Take Sufficient Breaks
    : While it is important to have more physical activity and a balance diet to reach weight loss goals, it is also necessary to take time out from such a rigorous routine. Small breaks will help you seek moderation and let you love what you do. Being too strict on a routine can make you feel intimidated and frustrated in the long run. Stick to a routine that can let you shed pounds gracefully.

    Thank you Coolblues for the tips. My two cents of advice: have early dinner ( of course light dinner), at least 2 to 3 hours before going to bed. Second thing is weigh yourself at least once a week.

    Whenever you feel down about dieting, just imagine yourself after shredding the specific weight you want to loose..you would get energize...After all, these are all for our benefits only..so take it positively and love what you do...

    Do simple excercise...
    Healthy snacking...
    good amount of sleep...

    Eating good fiber food is really helpful for reducing the weight.
    There are some foods for reducing weight like
    1. Beans: Contains protein, can think of swapping meat with beans.
    2.Low Fat milk: it reduces the calories intake.
    3. Whole grains.: it contains more fiber. So always opt for whole instead of refined grains. whole grains are rich in magnesium, a mineral instrumental in regulating fat metabolism.
    4.Red Peppers: Peppers are also packed with vitamin C, a nutrient needed for fat burning.
