    Dear blues,diabetes patients can eat banana depending upon their sugar level.Banana has its own medicinal properties.Dates too falls into that category.

    Dry fruits like fig,almonds can be taken.All in moderate amounts.According to our doctor's advice,donot avoid any fruit or vegetable.Take but in minimum amount.

    hi,

    in some naturopathy book i read about fruits for diabetic where sappota is a big no. Banan can be taken but not full ripe as it will have high sugar level when it is fully ripe. In Bangalore many people say that a diabetic person can eat small yelakki bananas. One apple will not do any harm. Sapota, water melon fully ripe banana raises blood sugar level instantly. So be careful with the fruits but fruits can be eaten moderately in small amount.
