How do I add an "Avatar" - Standard / Custom avatar?

    I guess everybody would be interested in including a small picture (Avatar) next to their postings. An avatar would give a touch of individuality to your postings.

    Please follow the below steps:

    1. Click on the UserCp drop down menu and select 'Edit Avatar' option

    2. Here you have 2 options:
    • Standard avatar - You can choose a picture from our gallery
    • Custom avatar - Select a picture (image file - .jpg or .gif) you already have in your computer. If the picture is of the acceptable size as mentioned in the panel, the image will be displayed right there.
    3. Click on 'Save Changes' and then all your postings will include the picture you chose

    How to upload avatar using URL:

    1. Click on the UserCp drop down menu and select 'Edit Avatar' option
    2. Copy the URL of the image and paste it in the text box
    3. Click 'Save Changes'

    Note: Custom avatar option is available only if you are a junior member (with 50+ posts). Refer this.

    About Indusladies Profile

    Hi

    You may find weird but I do not know how to upload my own profile pic in my profile as it is only giving the limited choice of some Avataars and I could not find the buttons as mentioned in the FAQ!

    It has not been long time that I have joined Indusladies and so I even do not know what is the meaning of 'IL hall of fame' and 'golden Ilite' etc.

    Could I change my Username? Is it possible?

    Hi Innerbliss,
    Go to User Control Panel after logging in, , there you will find avatar, then 2 options will be there. One from URL and second from your computer , click browse , then you can select the picture of your choice from the ones saved in your computer. Scan a pic or from the internet save it in a folder in your computer.

    Regarding Silverlite etc thats according to the posts. Silverlites have 500 posts or more , Goldlites are above 1000 posts . I dont much about Hall of Fame or changing username .

    On Profile am unable to view the option of Custom Avatar hence am not able to change my profile pic. Can you please help on the same

    Custom avatar option will become available when you reach Junior IL-ite status. Please take a look at the below thread for more details. Elite Member Statuses & Incremental Privileges at each status!
