I hold a Masters in Engineering Management from Old Dominion University, Virginia, USA and have worked in the areas of Sourcing Optimization, Supply Chain and Research Tax consulting in USA prior to launching ProEdge Pros. Before coming to the USA, I worked in the IT industry in India for 2 years.

My Company partners hold MBA degrees from a reputed university in Texas, USA. They have a rich working experience in the field of Investment & Corporate Banking and Consulting.

Our upbringing in India is very educationally inclined. We develop high regards for education very early on and work hard to make the best of it as per our capabilities.

Hence, when we landed in the USA for our Masters, it struck us that just ‘being good’ at studies is not going to make the cut. There were many other aspects that mattered like the right fit, networking, self-presentation, social etiquettes and others that we needed to address. We struggled to break through as did many like us.

This struggle materialized into the birth of ProEdge Pros. We really wanted the upcoming batches of international students to benefit from our struggles.

What accordingly to you sets ProEdge apart from the other consulting units that help and train students for entrance tests and administration aspects for applications abroad?

Honestly, we are both like and unlike other existing higher education admission consulting companies.

We are similar because we assist candidates in choosing schools, essays, statements of purpose, resume, interview preparation etc. Yet, we are unlike our competitors because of our approach towards the process.

We never work on an application just to get applicants an admission somewhere. We give the candidates an idea of what they can expect in their careers so that they can make an informed ‘individual’ decision.

We help in crafting the candidates’ career graph by thoroughly analyzing their current profile.

For ProEdge Pros, the customer’s interests come first. We have advised 35% of applicants to reconsider their positions and refrain from application based on their current profiles or because of misaligned expectations from higher education.

How do you manage to make the company a full-fledged net-based unit?

I believe that making a company internet-based is both viable and practical in today’s world. We want to reach a larger group of people irrespective of the geographies and hence, the decision. Plus, the youth these days are very net savvy. So it benefits both to have an internet based unit.
