Why did you set-up a HR consultancy? What is the differentiating factor for Resurge?

Human resource is a wide field, and there is a dearth of qualified professionals to assist organizations in fulfilling their HR needs. Sometimes, the right people don’t get placed in the ideal jobs. We focus on managing the entire HR process, from recruiting to training to setting systems and processes, and assisting the organization in retention, as well as development of talent. Not many companies do that. Most HR agencies focus on bringing a potential employee to an employer, and getting paid for that.   HR compliances is another area that requires active intervention. I believe Resurge is doing an admirable job in partnering with progressive organizations, in professionalizing their processes.  HR cannot be considered a department. It embraces every aspect of business and Resurge is ensuring organizations give HR its due importance.

Do you have plans to open branches of Resurge across India?

We are currently functioning out of offices in Goa and Gurgaon, and are able to provide services across the country and when required, overseas. We don’t see any immediate requirement to open additional offices, but we are definitely widening the scope of activities, and moving into many new avenues. Corporate Training and HR Consulting for organizations is an area of active interest in Goa, as also managing conferences and off-site meetings. In Gurgaon, we are venturing into more publications, media and event management. As I said earlier, real estate training and publications is a new field which is my focus this year.

Thank you Meenakhshi, for joining us, and on behalf of IndusLadies, we wish you the very best.
