Tell us a little about you, your qualifications, past work experience and how Connect 2 Consult came about?

 The dream began in 2009 when we decided to leave our 9 to 5 jobs to do something unique and significant with our time and resources.  Connect 2 Consult is a women driven initiative by me, and my partner, Aashita Dutta. I have more than seven years of experience in strategic marketing, quality and process, business planning and development, logistics and supply chain. I am an English graduate from Calcutta University, with a PGDBM from Wigan and Leigh UK, and a Six Sigma Green belt from Motorola University.

Aashita on the other hand has more than seven years of experience in handling strategic marketing, business development, international business, market research and process consulting domains in different verticals, like IT, Investment Advisory, KPO.  She is an Economics graduate from Delhi University, and holds an MBA in Marketing from Banasthali Vidyapeeth, Rajasthan.

Through both our past work experiences in operations, quality departments and international marketing, amongst others, we realized the potential to have a solution for contacting multiple vendors for various business needs.

Although starting your own venture means that you have to work 24 hours a day literally, when you are committed to your objective, it doesn’t feel like long hours at all. It in fact makes you work harder.

What to you is the core area of your business? Would you like to venture into other areas?

Connect2Consult is an innovative consulting firm with three practice areas, process consulting, process solutions and process outsourcing. To put it simply, we help our clients connect through our consulting; we act as a single point contact, when they need to deal with multiple vendors through different stages of the business life cycle.

We try and integrate the various functional and technology needs of our clients. We try and enable better business strategies for our clients to stay ahead of competition and work efficiently.  

The differentiating factor is our business model, Single Point Engagement Model (SPEM), which  has been designed by Connect2Consult keeping in mind the challenges that are faced by businesses of all sizes, in identifying and implementing the right processes and solutions across all functional areas. With a Single Point Engagement Model they aim to provide one access point to companies for their business needs.
