Not Only Marriage Which Makes Demands on You

  • Some people feel that if a woman is single, she is not responsible for anyone and should be able to handle her personal and professional life all by herself. Maybe, she has her parents and her own life to take care of, sometimes even siblings.
  • I would say that here again, do not hesitate in seeking help. You have equal responsibilities as a married woman, if not more. And, your own life and time is important.
  • As a single woman too, you can think of working flexi time, if you want to. Not too many employers understand that, but persevere, if that is what you want.

Let me emphasise here that the money spent in employing help is totally worth every paisa spent, if it gives you time and the much required personal space. No point in slogging all the time, if you do not have time to spend with people you care about and yourself.

Do Not Fear Change

  • You want to change jobs, your very line of work or your style of working, so that it gives you greater freedom and time? Do it.
  • Want to change the way you manage your household, so that it gives you greater personal and professional freedom? Do it.

Key is not to lose hope and work your way around your situations.

So my friends get up and work your way to a happier life. Remember, a happy woman makes for a happy family. You are a professional and should manage your work life as best you can. We also owe it to our daughters.
