• No noise please:

Do not make sounds while eating. Burping and licking fingers while eating puts you in a very bad light, and people, watching you, would want to escape from there.

  • Asking for the bill:

Do not read the amount of the bill, as you would not want the entire world to know how much you paid. If there is any discrepancy in the bill, do not shout or yell from the word go, instead politely bring it to the notice of the staff.

Elevator/Lift and Queue Etiquette:

Do not keep on pressing the elevators buttons, once pressed is just fine.

Please wait for people to get out before you force yourself to get in.

Kindly make place for senior citizens and children.

When in a queue, keep safe distance and never stand too close to a person.

Never take advantage of knowing someone and jumping the queue.

General Courtesy:

Do offer help to senior citizens; it is a sign of showing your respect.

Appreciate kind gestures. If someone opens the door or offers you a chair, please smile, and say thank you.

Never get abusive. Always make use of polite words in your vocabulary.

Manners are like primary colors, there are certain rules and once you have these you merely mix, i.e., adapt them to meet the changing situations- Emily Post
