Chances of an Orgasm Causing Labour Contractions

If you have a low risk pregnancy, then the answer is no. However, most doctors advice against one during the final few weeks of pregnancy, because the semen has a chemical that increases the chance of labour contractions.

Low desire for making love:

  • In the first trimester it is mainly due to the nauseated feeling, together with the tenderness of the breasts, increased frequency of urination, and a general tiredness.
  • Also, there are many expecting mothers, who don’t feel like making love the larger their bodies get, with the advancing of their pregnancy term.
  • This lack of motivation is also because as time progresses, a mother-to-be gets more preoccupied and excited with the impending delivery. In such cases, communicate with your husband, and instead indulge is other means of intimacy like hugs, cuddles and kisses.
