question

I transferred one embryo during an in-vitro fertilization (IVF) cycle and it stuck. I am planning to transfer two this time, but doctor says it is better to transfer three. I am really worried. Is three too many to transfer?

Several medical practitioners believe that three embryos is too many to transfer at a time during an IVF procedure. But then again, no two doctors think alike. Deciding the number of embryos to transfer in an IVF cycle has to be carefully discussed between you and your doctor. Ultimately, the objective of both is to ensure the birth of a healthy baby.
