Changes in Your Body at Week 23 Pregnancy
At 23 weeks of pregnancy the increased blood flow in your body will make you:
- Want to visit the rest room more often
- Cause vaginal discharge
Your Baby’s Development at Week 23 Pregnancy
As you move from 22 weeks of pregnancy to the 23rd one, your baby becomes more active. You will experience more kicks and punches from the little one and during the ultrasound you will notice it will look like a small doll.
The pigmentation of the skin begins to form at 23 weeks of pregnancy.
Week 23 Pregnancy Tips and Advice
As you progress to the 24th week of you being pregnant, the pressure on your bladder increases and there can be times when you leak a little. Use panty liners to avoid any embarrassment.
Urinary tract infections are fairly common at this stage. If you feel any burning sensation while urinating, do speak to your doctor immediately.
You are likely to remain highly emotionally strung at this time and outbursts are fairly common. Speak to your partner and tell him that not all you say is always intentional. Sometimes it’s just the work of the hormones.
Week 23 Fun
Enjoy the kicks at 23 weeks of pregnancy. Note down when your baby is most active. Keep a count of the number of kicks that you feel throughout the day. Get your spouse to feel the kick too by placing his hand lightly on your stomach. This can be a very exciting time for both of you.
