60 of the Original and Best Quality Tom & Jerry Cartoons

Who are the most popular cat and the most popular mouse in the world? Of course it is the British blue and white cat, Tom and the ever-hungry small town brown mouse, Jerry. It is thus no wonder that they have been entertaining us with their non-stop chases for the past sixty years.

However, despite these ‘Tom-running-after-Jerry’ chases, do you really think that the ‘Mummy-scolded’ Tom is really the villain in the stories? Or is he just a short tempered cat who is constantly made to eat humble pie because he is outwitted by Jerry’s brains?

Also, although Tom keeps looking for ways to punish Jerry and the latter, in turn, keeps creating difficult situations for the former with his intellect, are they really enemies or do they share a love-hate relationship? I would love to know what you think. For your benefit, below is a list of all the English original episodes as was created by William Hanna and Joseph Barbara for Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer. They had actually written a total of 114 between 1940 and 1957, but these are the ones with the best audio and video quality.
