  1. Neem leaves: This is one of the best home remedies for dandruff, as the anti-fungal property of this herb acts on the root of the cause. But stay aware of the overwhelming odor of Neem. Add bunch of neem leaves into 5 cups of hot water and let it stand overnight. Use the strained water to rinse hair. You can also make neem paste, apply on the scalp and leave for 30 minutes before rinsing it off.
  2. Lemon: Simple scalp massage with lemon can be pretty advantageous. The acidity of fresh lemons breaks the fungus causing dandruff. Leave it for few minutes and was hair with a shampoo as usual. You can also apply a mix of lemon juice and coconut oil to the scalp and leave it over night. Wash the hair the following morning.
