Really Confused!!Please help

I am a BTech in Software Engineering. But I am not iterested in coding. Please dont ask me why I took engineering ten. Because I got in merit seat in a good college and was pretty bad in taking decisions.

I want to do MBA after work experience only.
I am interested in commerce,economics and finance.


I also want to do job in a company that doesnt ask for bond because I am planning to do GMAT as soon as possible.

Right now I am placed in a very good software MNC that doesnt ask for bond. But I dont want to do programming. THough I am good at it my heart is not in it. Please give me your valuable suggetsions

SInce you mentioned GMAT I assume you want to come to the US for your MBA or are already in the US?

Most (good) MBA programs in the US encourage some work experience and do not prefer candidates straight out of school. The reason is that it really really helps to have a solid functional base on to which build management studies on.

If you have an interest in finance and econ and no aptitude for programming maybe you can look around, do some business analysis course and work as a business analyst (requirements analyst) or in some IT-related capacity but not programming. You can use that as a foundation for your MBA, specialize in finance and then make a career change to finance (like financial analyst) if that appeals to you.

I would encourage you to have at;east 2 years of experience as that adds to your advantage as you are opting for business schools. They prefer people with work experience than none...
