Some one suggest good training institute for mainframe training.. anywhere in south India but preferably in BLR or HYD... about a decade back ERDC, TVM (now CDAC, TVM) was considered the best.. things have changed or not?
@telugu1 Thanks for the advise.. I am aware that Mainframe is dinosaur technology.. but still I want to learn it.. 129 views & counting.. and no useful suggestions.. :-(
mainframe is always good and its always important .. also the job remain evergreen ..usually very less ppl give mainframe training as its more company oriented.. I will give the details shortly
seems you are hell bent on getting into Mainframes.. Good...then try to get season with Cobol.. and control language stuff..
Hmmm... I am into mainframe right from the beginning. Its been 7 years now and I could feel the pain without any good projects! Slowly its getting extinct and people are moving to .NET and Java!
Even I am into MF for past seven years, no good projects. You can learn some new technology instead of wasting time in outdated technology.
One advantage here is the more extinct it gets, rare the tools we use in it. Rare the tools we use, rare opportunities for us with hefty pays. Ex: IMS!
