Hi ILs, I am a senior software engineer and my husband works in a private bank (in Sales-Loan). He is a B.Com graduate. We are planning to go onshore in another couple of years. My husband is planning to get some course/certification done so that he can also get into IT industry and that way he can also find a job there when we go onshore. It would be great if you could suggest some valid courses which would help us to come to a conclusion. I thought of the payroll course which helps him get into the payroll department. But not sure how the scope would be in onshore. You are most welcome to suggest some best institutes that provide placement (We stay at Chennai). We are badly looking for this information. Please give ur valuable comments asap.
Thanks Coolchap. But I am wondering if development side of IT will suit him as he is from non-Engg background. Can you suggest him something that helps him to get into the admin side (non tech)???
How about QA/software testing? I knw it will not require a Engg degree. But is thr a specific course or certification to get into testing?
for non engineering background guys especially who are from accounting, functional ERP tools i.e SAP FICO or Oracle financials will be good and it has bright future too when compared to technical side .Even pay is higher on functional side.
