Lot of companies like HP, EDS, IBM, Oracle and Microsoft offers work from home options for their employees.

But given a choice I would prefer working from an office than work from home. Working from home would make me a lazy person, thats why.

During the forced company shutdowns during Christmas and New year, me and my husband were working remotely from home. You would not believe this - for 4 days at a stretch we did not take bath, did not step out of the house, didnt cook and clean, ordered pizza and ate.

Well.. I can not imagine the situation if I had to work from home for a longer duration!!

Am a newbie to this community and i really enjoyed reading many forums & blogs. This forced me to join IndusLadies group.

Am a software professional currently working at Bangalore.Am expecting my first baby by July'08 first week. And we've planned to settle at Chennai soon.
