Any ladies on H4 doing freelance work from home?

hi my name is uma.i'll stay at sunnyvale.iam a housewife .i want to work but iam on h4.can any one tell me the ways to work from the home or in other way.it should be reliable.

Welcome to our group.I am also sailing in the same boat,H4,no work.

The prob with h4 is u are noteligible towork i.e.no salary on ur name.I too had heard of few working and getting paid in cash.But then,the employers have to be reliable enough to do that,else we will be at their mercy.Secondly better to be safe than to be sorry later.

There are alternate ways:-MFs,stocks&shares(Frankly I never thought abt them till I came here and had no work!!Learn new things,Sunnyvale Library is superb.Can join DeAnza or any college just to be in touch(u may not learn something new) with ur field.Try out Sunnyvale Community Center courses.If u can go for higher studies,MS,MBA etc.

Last,think of this as a long vacation and ur only chance to make ur dreams come true

Hi , can anyone tell me whether those on H4 can work on projects from freelancer and Elance? How does one get paid? What payment address should one supply while registering, US or Indian? Please guide me. Thanks
