| A Mother is Special... A mother is special. She's as soft and graceful as a butterfly, yet as strong and courageous as a grizzly bear. Her heart is large enough to hold everyone's pain and joy. Her hands are always gentle and soothing. Her arms are always warm and tender. She works hard to make a home feel like home, and she strives to make life pleasant and comfortable for those she loves. She never fails to go that extra mile to make the holidays happy and memorable. Her job is the most difficult and demanding ever known to any human being, yet she's fully dedicated to the task. She's always there for her family, guiding them and keeping them safe from harm. She owns a magical way to raise spirits and make everything feel better. And her sympathy, unselfishness and forgiveness are unending. All that anyone is or could ever hope to be can be attributed to a mother. She instills the teachings that will last a lifetime. She sows the seeds of virtue and morality, and in the process, she opens up love and vast horizons. She's always watching and hoping that her children's goals will have meaning. She always listens and tries to understand even when it's difficult to do so. She's a true friend in every sense of the word. She's noble and sublime, and holds all the beauty of a golden day, yet even during the storms, she always shines bright like an evening star. Her name should be honored well, for she's the closest thing to God on earth. MICHELANGELO' S MOTHER: "Can't you paint on walls like other children? Do you have any idea how hard it is to get that stuff off the ceiling?" NAPOLEON'S MOTHER: "All right, if you aren't hiding your report card inside your jacket, take your hand out of there and show me." ABRAHAM LINCOLN'S MOTHER: "Again with the stovepipe hat? Can't you just wear a baseball cap like the other kids?" MARY'S MOTHER: "I'm not upset that your lamb followed you to school, but I would like to know how he got a better grade than you." GEORGE WASHINGTON'S MOTHER: "The next time I catch you throwing money across the Potomac, you can kiss your allowance good-bye!" THOMAS EDISON'S MOTHER: "Of course I'm proud that you invented the electric light bulb. Now turn it off and get to bed!" PAUL REVERE'S MOTHER: "I don't care where you think you have to go, young man, midnight is past your curfew." ALBERT EINSTEIN'S MOTHER: "But it's your senior picture. Can't you do something about your hair? OY! Styling gel, mousse, something... ?" A True Angel A mother is special, she's more than a friend. Whenever you need her, she'll give you a hand. She'll lead you and guide you in all that you do. Try all that she can just to see you get through. Good times and bad times, she's there for it all. Say head up, be proud, and always stand tall. She'll love you through quarrels and even big fights, or heart to heart chats on cold lonely nights. My mother's the greatest that I've ever known, I think God made my mother like He'd make his own. A praiser, a helper, an encourager too, nothing in this world that she wouldn't do. To help us succeed she does all that she can, raised a young boy now into a man. I want to say thank you for all that you do, please always know mom, that I love you. |

| Hi Preethi, I really dont know how to express my happiness after seeing your reply. Thanx for inviting me for lunch dearie. I will try to come to your place one day definitely. Glad to hear that you are a home mum now with 3yrs bundle of joy. I'am looking forward to know his/her name. My personal advice is that you should be with the kid till he/she reaches his 4th or 5th standard and then maybe you can take up a part time job. In that way you need not put him/her in a baby sitting. You can also reach home by the time the kid reaches home. I 'am really longing for such a life, but god has decided something else for me. I have lived a major part of my life in this land only. Did my schooling and went back to India and finished my college studies and in between got married and came back to this land of dreams and hopes again. And am working as a travel consultant here now. As you said my patience level has increased enormously. Around 4 to 5 hrs on road daily and rest of the day busy in the office. That is life i guess!!!!!!!!!!!! And all the time missing my parents badly............ Bye bye dearie........... Hope to hear from you soon........ Lots of luv and prayers..... Divya............. |

| :) I saw this message and i just had to share my experience. My mother LOVES!!! chocolate icecream. But she is not allowed to eat it due to cholestrol. On mother's day, i bought a chocolate ice cream cup (small) and gave it to her in a big box for her to unwrap. After she managed to get through with the wrap and saw that ice cream - there were no words to describe her reaction! she became a little baby!!! I kind of feel guilty - for having to resort to ice cream which is not good for her - BUT STILL!!!! So yeah - Happy Mother's day! Keep your mothers happy everyone! :) |

| Hi Divya Good morning already at work after your long drive Thanks Divya thats what we decided that i stay at home as long as i can as i remember the fun we used to have as kids coming home from school and talking nonstop to our mum about our day and all the yummy treats that was ready for us to eat. I also remember the time when we were at bangalore and my mum was working then meeting her when ever she was home and going to the hospital (she was a theatre sister then) and sitting outside and doing my homework. We had our grandma at home then so someone from the family was home. That's a luxury we cannot have here and really its so sad. Hey don't worry things will work out God willing have faith and keep visualising yourself at home and it will surely come true Hey Dubai kiddo really would love to meet you too Have a fun day at work and do take care will keep in touch and you too drop by and get to know all the fun dubai girls we had a wonderful meet. I have been telling them about you and maybe we will get to meet you soon tooo. love and best wishes preethi
