Actor Raghuvaran passes away

HI,

Even i felt very shocked to read this sad news, really we miss a great actor .

I am also a Raghuvaran's fan. But could not belive he is 60?

Heart felt condolences to his family !

I would like to mention Raghuvaran's most memorable roles

These are my personal favourites ;

1. The role of a modern,educated husband and father in Anjali
- I was a college kid then and wished every father should be like him

2. The stingy husband and selfish son in Samsaram adu min saram

- I thought he was smart,educated and self sufficient never once thought of him as selfish coz in my opinion if that character gave in to the whims of everyone like the dominating father ,failing brother,arrogant sister then what would happen of him....... any way i feel that way.

3. The psycho in Puriyada pudir ... wow that was scary and sadistic

4. The sofisticated villain in Poo vizhi vaasalile,the crutches and all

5. The eccentric and fierce mafioso in Shiva,the voice was scary.

6. The secretive big brother in Aha,a very subtle role


I would remember Raghuvaran in all these roles.




I wonder " why is one remembered fondly only when he/she passes away? Does he kindle fond memories since he is no longer a threat to anyone living or as he doesnot exist anymore?

We must try to always speak of anyone deceased in a positive light, that way we will keep him alive for ever in our memories.that is what I believe.These actors/actresses really take pains to do something creative and entertain us.

Every film lover will agree that films let us experience joy,sorrow,humour and so much more.

But .......

we must keep being good critics of films.It is a service we will do to ourselves to get quality entertainment.

Thanks for putting down those roles. I would like to add a few more. I liked his acting in the film Baasha, Shivaji, Mudhalvan, Love Today - A loving father to Vijay.

He had his own style and will always be remembered for that style.

It's really sad about Raghuvaran's death. His performance in the movie 'Anjali' is remarkable and unforgettable. He created a style of his own. The Tamil film Industry has lost a great actor. According to all media, he's 49. I don't know how the age 60 came about. May his soul rest in peace!
