Yep; I too was quite shocked on hearing this news. His famous science fiction novels / stories --- nothing can equal that. I enjoyed the dialogues in the movie 'Sivaji.

Thanks for the timely thread Vidhya. I ernestly followed his 'En etharku eppadi' series when I was in school.

The versatile writer will be missed profoundly. May his soul rest in peace.

jus now iam seeing this news here.........Its a great shock to me.........iam his ardent fan..of his kelvi - bathil........and Ganesh- Vasanth series.......and too in films ......Its a great loss to our society.........

It is a real shock news for the Sujatha fans like me

Thanks a lot for this thread.

It was a huge shock to everyone of us in the family. His film dialogues are very familiar. Our former President Abdul Kalam was his classmate. He did not run for fame and kept his profile low.

Even I was a very great fan of Sh. Sujatha. I used to buy whichever magazine where his story/serial used to appear. A great writer - par excellence. It was a great shock for me when I heard the news. Due to his writings I always used to feel he is very young and when I heard the news I felt how he could die at such an young age. When I started reading the news on net I really cried. We all miss him and no one can fill his void.
