Favorite Restaurant in Kolkata

Hi ILites,

I am starting the threads for the food lovers and obcourse for those who had been to Kolkata and had good time in surfing the restaurant in Kolkata or people who has just heard of any good restaurants.
Kolkata had a wide range of restaurants starting from the stars hotels to the footpath shops .Mughal dishes are very famous out in Kolkata and the Chinese too.

Share your experiences so that we can get an idea of the best known restaurant out in Kolkata if somebody wants to dine in Kolkata or who are visiting Kolkata often and this thread is great for our Kolkata friends.
I am also born and brought up in Kolkata but now in US.Here I am putting some my favourite restaurants in Kolkata

they have their branch in kolkata also... u must try it

I am not a resident of Kolkata but I have travelled Kolkata for quite a few times.My favourite restaurant is Shiraz,which is awesome for the Mughal type food.
