TV show- Sach ka Samna

The serial Sach ka Samna has finally ended. No doubt the host, Rajeev Khandelwal was quite handsome, but I feel the show as such was too open for Indian audiences.

I was shocked to know that a woman has committed suicide after watching the last episode of the show which featured TV star Roopa Ganguly. The lady considered herself a failure as a mother and wife and decided to end her life. She was in a relationship with another man and had left her husband and son.

On the whole, I felt the questions on the show were of a probing and intrusive nature and could even disrupt the domestic life of many households. What do you say ladies!

Sach Ka Saamna - Will You do it?

I am simply shocked by this show. India is still a conservative, male dominated society. Indian males are still very touchy and are still not mentally prepared for such an "open" show. They will never forgive even one sin of their wife, while they themselves merrily sin everyday.

The Indian male is ever suspicious of his wife. He may look anywhere and everywhere, but his wife always needs to have her eyes lowered!
I recently read a shocking newspaper report. Taking the example of the probing questions of the TV show Sach Ka Samna, a man took his wife for an outing. There he forced his wife to play the game. The news report didn’t provide the details, but he somehow concluded that his wife was lying or was having an extramarital affair. He promptly killed her.

I believe some truths are better to remain unsaid. And the Sach Ka Samna people make it a point to ask only such questions that will break a relation whatever it is. Since the contestants participate on their own wish and since no one is forcing anyone to watch it we can’t complain what a show they are telecasting now a days. Being a sensible human it’s better to stay out of such programs and to make a habit to watch only such programs that impart knowledge to us and makes our life a better one. We have the freedom to choose and if we choose it in a matured way then no one would care to telecast anything& everything just for TRPS because they will fail to get good TRPS. So rather than blaming channels to change, change ourselves.

I am shocked that this fellow forced his wife to take a mock Sach ka Samna test with such serious results. The serial was too intrusive for my liking.
Many a time, TV serials have such unfortunate results. I remember the TV serial SHAKTIMAN resulted in injuries to many kids who fell off building going round and round like SHAKTIMAN.

I am also not in favour of this show.Good to have variety and copying from abroad shows.But the format can be changed accordingly not just dito of what they do.This Sach Ka Saamna was dito of The Moment of Truth.The court ruling was even more shocking than the show itself

Rakhi ka Swayamvar is like Real Love kind of shows and now in star plus "The new bride" which is like Bachelor/Bachelorette kind of shows.

Difficult to digest is to see that parents are also participating in this show to look for a bride for their son.It is obvious that a lot of masala is mixed just for TRP ratings.Where are we heading?!

hello everyone,

i am personally very much against the reality shows. i ahve not seen any episodes of this 'Saach Ka Samna' and i am really glad that the show has ended. to get the higest TRPs i fee the show has intruded in the personal lives of the common man.
and to commit suicide or to kill someone else after watching the show is an act of courage.
people must understand that these shows are actually fooling them.
