Boomkesh bakshi was mah favte programe .....apart frm dat...id luv to watch ek se badhkar ek...swabhiman....rangoli....chandrakanta....sansa r...its a long list........actually i luved each n every programme

Lotta discussions coming up on DD programs. I really miss those old DD programs a lot.
I remember watching Stone Boy, though I am not sure about the name and as far as my memory goes, it was a serial. I loved watching that. And my personal favorite however was Superhit Muquabla.

You all continue posting, it is really fun to read the variety of answers.

Sorry knot2share dear, I don’t remember Trishna , Kachhi Dhoop, Yeh jo hain zindagi , Nukkad . But I do remember Karamchand, it was a detective serial I guess, with Pankaj Kapoor in it. Right? And he used to eat carrot a lot.

Yes u r right...it is with Pankaj Kapoor and Sushmita Mukherjee. I guess by mentioning those names of serials, I have just kinda showed my age !!

I remember watching ‘Fauji’, in fact, it was with ‘Fauji’ I became a fan of Shahrukh Khan. Besides these remember watching ‘Quiz Time’, it was the first quiz show on Doordarshan and ‘World This Week’. World This Week was a news program and was presented by Pronoy Roy.

Ek se bad kar ek is my favourite.. If u all remember its top 10 songs program n the now popular singer Shankar Mahadevan used to act in that..

Also luv tom n jerry which gets telecasted on every sunday..

'yeh jo hei zindagi' is another favourite.. Infact v got a cd of its episode recently..

I do remember this ‘Ek se bad kar ek’ countdown show but I cannot really recall if Shankar Mahadevan was in it. Even I watched ‘Fauji’ and ‘Circus’. Hey Preethi, I remember this ‘Amul Surabhi’, one host was Renuka Sahani, don’t remember the male host though.
Do you remember ‘Sriman Srimati’? It used to come on DD, right? It had Reema Lagoo in it.

To knot2share, you even remember the news readers, that’s really WOW!!!!
Fauji was SRK’s first serial.
I remember ‘Tehekikhat’ and can faintly recall ‘Junoon’.
I think ‘Sriman Srimati’ came on DD.
