What's your Favorite Children Movie

Hello Girls,
Last week, I went to watch Ice Age 3 with my friends and their children. The crowd was mostly of kids, which is very natural. The kids were jumping, dancing and were much excited to watch the movie. The movie was cool. It reminded me the movies I used to watch as kids. Mostly, Bengali ones… but nowadays Directors of Bengali movies do not make kids’ movies anymore…

I used to heavily depend on ‘Chuti Chuti’ during my summer vacation for watching movies. There I have seen many kids’ movies. I remember watching ‘Sriman Prithhiraj’ there once and liked it very much; it used to be my favorite movie, especially the song “haridas er bhulbhul baja…” I am sure you all remember the movie and the song as well.

Anyways, I would like to know which are your favorite movies as kids or favorite kids’ movies.

You will not believe how many kids movies I have watched this summer vacation. We started ordering movies from Netflix, going to theatres,renting DVDs from blockbuster. I have been watching atleast a minimum of 2 movies per day this summer. The best part is all the kids movies are either 90mins or 60 mins only.

I liked Ice age, Monsters vs Aliens, Bolt, Paul Blart-Mall Cop, Princess Protection Program, Shark Tales, Kung Fu Panda, Hotel for dogs, Madagascar 2 and many more..... can't recollect right now.

Of all the movies my favorite one is hard to pick but I would say I enjoyed watching Monsters vs Aliens.
As a child I enjoyed watching Spider-man and Vikram aur Betal.

There are a lot of movies that I loved watching as kids, one of which is ‘I am for the Hippopotamus’. Then there is ‘Honey, I Shrunk the kids’, the ‘Home Alone’ series I and II, not the III and IVth one though, it did not star Macaulay , ‘E.T’.’ , ‘Mrs. Doubtfire’ , ‘Baby’s Day Out’ and lots and lots more…

Among the Bengali ones, I loved watching ‘Goopi Gayen, Bagha Bayen’, I don’t remember how many times I have actually seen this movie. Then there is ‘Char Murti’, a hilarious rout.

I liked watching ‘Goopi Gayen, Bagha Bayen’…and I still do.
Home Alone I and II were my fav and given a chance I would still watch these movies again and again…
In ‘Chuti Chuti’ I have seen ‘Thakurmar Jhuli’ a number of times…and loved it really…

Nice movies there! Although I dont understand Bengali, I remember watching Gopi gayen... and loved it. It had English subtitles, so it helped me understand.
I liked Jumanji as well...I remember how we would scream out when something new comes out of the playboard! Not sure if you would consider 'The Jurassic park' as a children movie....but I had watched it when I was 13-14 yr old and had felt great.

Hey friends,
I was in class II when Jurassic Park released. I remember watching it in Globe. It was a superb experience. I was amazed to see animals so big and huge. I remember watching the film with my parents, brother and cousin. I too don’t remember how many times I have watched Jurassic Park and Lost World. I have watched ‘Jumanji’ as well and loved Robin Williams. The music of the drums beating gave me thrills.
It is hard to pick my favorite children movie…however, in Bengali I will go for Gopi Gayen Bagha Bayen and in English it is E.T.
