Should Some Animals Be Illegal As Pets?

Hey Girls,
Last day on net, I read unbelieving news. A girl of 13 was killed in house by her pet snake. The snake was a python and at night when the girl was sleeping, it came out of its cage and slipped into her room and then it kinda strangled the kid to death. The incident happened in US. I was very shocked reading the news. I wondered why people pet snakes. They can pet thousands of other animals like dogs, cats, birds, fishes, rabbits, guinea pigs. I think some animals should be made illegal as pets.
Keeping a snake as pet is life threatening. The very thought is shivering me…

That is the most horrible fact that I have heard. I mean how can some pet a snake? How can someone even think of that? This is crazy and totally freaky. I agree with you, surely some pets should be made illegal as pets. I know many who keep spiders as pet.
Spiders give me an eerie feeling. They are just yuck!!! No spiders, no lizards, no snakes. I am sure many are there who pet alligators, I have seen on TV. These animals should be made illegal as pets.

What do have to say about this???

Yes, animals like snakes, spiders and lizards should be made illegal as pets…how did that girl think of keep a snake as pet? I have also heard quite few news like this one before.

You are talking about alligators Aparajita, I am sure they can even keep lions and tigers as pets…
Anyways, I think dogs are the best pets; I am planning to keep one…
