10 palces you want to visit before you die

Hi All,

Last day I was watching a program on National Geographic. It was about Greece. I was overwhelmed to watch the program. Ever since I was a child I always wanted to visit Greece for its fascinating history. But I am yet to visit Greece. In fact there are many other places, which I would really like to visit before I die.

I will post about them soon.

But as of now, I would like to see your posts.

Tell me which places you want to visit before your die...

I guess the title should be more like "Name the 10 Places you would like to visit before you die"

Now, it's kinda misleading as it might be some new sources listing you know.. and not the personal ones

Nice post Aparna. Actually there are many places that I would like to visit and I cannot settle with 10. But since you have asked to mention only 10, lemme just try to shortlist it.

- Egypt, for its fascinating history
- Venice, for riding through the canals,
- Madhya Pradesh, for the marble rocks
- Rome for the Colosseum
- England to see the country that ruled us
- Kerala for the backwaters
- China for the Great Wall of China,
- Spain for watching bull fight
- Mexico, for the Inca Ruins
- Rio de Janeiro for the beaches

debjanisen, I was in Spain last summer, and though we didn't watch the bullfighting, I can assure you that it is one of the most horrendous spectacle ever.. its not a sport.. its usually conducted on Sundays, and the whole area smells like raw blood, the stench of blood is unbearable.. and the animal is drugged and sometimes, the horns are wrapped in flammable cloth and lit to create a more "thrilling" enviornment..

Besides that, Spain is beautiful.. I would recommend Barcelona be on your list.. loved every second there..
