Stray dog menace

Hello ladies
What do you think of the stray dogs roaming our streets?
Do they have to be put to sleep?
Do they have to be sterilised?
Do they have to be handed over to the Blue Cross?

Considering that we read gory reports of these dogs mauling and biting children, something has to be done!

Yes,I too feel something needs to be done.My 6 yr old nephew got bitten by a 'total' stray dog last November.He had to have a series of injections because it was a complete stray dog. Children being children sometimes think very playfully about dogs and they don't realise that the dog can bite.The least the government can do is to keep our streets clean of stray dogs.

I think they should be put to sleep.
They are becoming real treat to kids in the neighbourhood.
It is so scary to leave kids outside to play...

I don't know of other parts of India, but i've seen & read about the stray dog menace in Bangalore. The govt seems to be doing it's bit to put an end to it but the animal welfare organisation seems to be lobbying against killing of stray dogs.

They've definitely become a big nuisance & threat to children as well as adults. I've heard of reports where a bunch of stray dogs have even mauled riders of two wheelers. There's has been reports of deaths of at least 4 children in b'lore recently.

Hope the govt takes the appropriate measures at the earliest to curb this menace.
