Does your child have any of these video games?

Hello ILites,

All said and done, irrespective of the cons about the video games we do end up spending a lot for getting them one. No points for guessing the kids of these Y-generation who are hooked on to their play station and x-box.
In your house hold have you clearly drawn a line and said NO to the video games?
Have you allowed your kids to have a video game, if yes then what system does your kids have?

Nice thread. My kid who is 7 years old owns a Sony PSB since 1 year. We bought it after much negotiation of timing, study hours etc with him and he adheres to it. The screen time (includes TV, Video games, computer etc) is 1 hour- 11/2 hour on week days a bit longer in weekends. Yes he adheres to the rules.

No. my kids do not own any of these games. My Son plays online chess and cricket apart from browing for information. DD also plays online and both are not allowed to play games having violence...

My son got NINTENDO game cube and SONY PS2 and our PC will be full of games

But he wont be having time to touch or play anything in school days, only in weekend he will play for sometime ( he got all his classes mainly in weekend only) and i feel no probs till this date, since he is very good at studies never fail to atttend his classes

Before he had game boy, Nintiendo DS, computer games and now he is owning X-Box 360
But never had any problem any time along with the games he plays physical games like volley ball, tennis, football and he is good at studies i never had to be behind him for studies.
