Love at First sight...

Hello ILites,

Haven't we all read Mills & Boon novels where Love at first sight is the order of the day.
What do you think of love at first sight? Is it just physical attraction or it is a real phenomenon happening on certain genuine instances.
Share your views and yeah you could tell us your love story too.

My vote is that Its just the physical attraction. No one can love with their eyes closed. Well, any long lasting love starts with physical attraction as the guy and the girl see each other first and if they like what they see in each other, then they approach and make friends, and then end up loving each other. In this theory, the love can turn out to be genuine..but the first entrance for such a genuine love path is the physical attraction.

Initially it could be Physical Attraction and later turns to be real love. But less importance should be given to physical attraction and more to real love at a latter stage.

I second sharadha.........At first sight.we are attracted only physically.......seeing his/her outlook.......so initially it could be mere attraction........may be in future it may turn to real one........

there are exceptions LORD RAMA AND SITA DEVI.......(as we used to quote them for love at first sight.).......but nobody is rama and sita here.now-a-days......

i too agree with others..at first sight it is only physical attraction but enough reason to carry it on further i think and good if it works out all the way..anyway cant quote anything out of my experience as mine was a properly arranged marriage...

Initially it is just physical attraction.. Mutual understanding is a must for a better relationship.

It is surely physical attraction. May be gents can feel it( I am married for 8 years...Till now my husband says he started loving me at first sight.). But for Ladies will surely take sometime to fall in love. (I took 4 years)

its definitely physical attraction and 99% ends only as a BIG time pass....

t can happen but not sure how long it will last.. As most of the love flies out of the window after knowing the person well.. then it is compromise in the name of love in most of the case.
