My Visit to the Beautician!

Dear Mals,
Great topic.. so girlie girlie....or shud i say woman (?)... I visit the parlor once in 2 months to have eyebrows and waxing (hands n legs). I feel good once all these are done and i look presentable. I do facial once in 3 months.

oh, no i am not for this thread............a wrong person, since i have never visited a parlour, not even during my wedding, last year, i thought let me see what they are doing in a parlour, i went to Lakme Salon, and paid very heavily, yes Rs 1500 was a huge amount for me...................and came back and was waiting if anyone would tell that my face is glowing, shining.............to my surprise, none of them asked me
then i told my husband that i had been to a parlour, he said there is no difference in my face..............then i dropped the idea of going to parlours..........and do only my yoga and meditations, and do some home remedies like malai and besan once a month...........thats it......................

dear friends dont think i am boasting of my beauty, i am not so beautiful , i beleive in internal beauty of a person..................

Hi Mals,

I can visit beauty parlour on week days anytime between 9.30 to 5.30pm cause in my office complex itself there are three beauty parlours, one is on the same floor. I visit twice a month.

It is perfectly fine yaar. My beautician always keeps telling me to sit for facials and massages etc.. I run miles away.. Many are under false impression that I am a regulaar visitor to the parlour, but it is not so. Most of the beauticians are my friends and they keep pestering me to sit for the facial sessions. I get bored sitting there for long time.

I totally agree with you, it is individual choice.

You are so lucky yaar. Here, I have to hit a parlour after my eyebrows have tied up together as I do not get time to specially visit the place.

The story is the same with me as those living away from India - I have yet to find a suitable beautician here. So until then, I am my own beautician!?! There have been mishaps especially with the eyebrows, thanks to me! Well, the black pencil came handy!
