Are "Quick Reply" and "Similar Threads" features useful?

Dear Laxmi,
I have not used quick reply feature. But the "similar threads" future reinforces our sense of humour.
The other day I was reading a highly sentimental piece love, hearts etc. and one similar thread that popped up was about the diet for heart patients.
When I lost in a competition I wrote a piece called, "I lost" and the first similar thread that popped up was "Anyone who lost 20kgs recently" and there was also a thread on the book "Lost World".
The consolation provided by these humorous similar threads was no less than the words of love pouring out of the ILites.
Then I wanted to check this feature in my thread "Will you be my GF?"
You will be surprised, Laxmi. There was not even a single thread under "similar threads"
This technological feature told me indirectly that my thread was quite unique.
