Default What domestic chores your husband...-Poll for July 10th to July 16th, 2005

Hello Ladies,

I'm guess this would be an interesting poll to share among the fellow ladies in this community! About what are the major domestic chores your husband does to help you at home.

These days many (if not most ) men partner with their wife in doing a lot of activities at home, especially when they have working wife. That makes life a little bit easy, isn't it?

Let's share here about how our men at home help us...this will also help to learn to get our men do something extra that is not being done so far!

Post Making up the kid is a great help!

My husband helps in making up my daugther to school and getting her to do her homework in the evenings.

I hardly have the patience to sit next to her when she does the homework!

Post I wash and he irons!

Mostly, I load the machines to wash and dry. He irons it. He also helps me with other cleaning work like dusting and wiping things like TV, Computer, etc. and vacuuming the house.

Default We shop together

My husband helps me in shopping...we shop together for the daily routines that makes it easy and not boring.

While I shop vegetables, fruits and other groceries, he will pick up things in the personal care area (like soap, lotions, paper towels,etc.).

Default On most things...

My husband he helps on everything that you have mentioned. We kind of share these chores depending on how each one is doing. So far, it is working out well.

Post

I have got to leave to work very early in the morning. So I've to cook hurry burry in the morning! It really helps with my husband cutting vegetables for me the previous evening itself!

Sometimes he helps me with mild cooking too (like keeping rice, making dosa, idli, etc.) when I don't feel well or late from office and if he is back early

Red face What a surprise?

I didn't know that there were so many men in this world helping women with the domestic chores at home . Though I'm surprised, it is good to know about it.

My husband hardly does anything at home. If at all he does I will endup with double work to be done, so I don't take the risk.

I guess I should train my man!

Thumbs up

Taking care of the kids, getting them ready when we go out, managing them outside home, keeping them occupied and getting them do their school work had always been a great help for me.

After the daily routines from morning to evening, I really get sometime in the evening for myself when my husband takes care of the kids.

Default We Share..depending on office work...

We both have a career and hence we share our household work depending on whats happening in office. If I am busy at office, he picks up the work at home and vice versa. We don't designate work for each other. So far, it is working...
