Not all the secrets are revealed to my DH.
I know what all the things he will take in and what not, more over, secrets which I myself want to forget, secrets which will create problems at present, which don't have any value now, need not be shared. This is my opinion.

I would request you to just check out the feedback and comments, to understand the reason for the poll.

Though on the outside the blog and the topic looks straight, there is an underlying argument about telling your secrets to your spouse.

I believe, guarding secrets should be chaste. If I am requested by the one who tell the secret to guard it, I will not tell the same even to my husband.

Sometimes, I have heard that the person talks about the secrets entrusted to her by her friends to spouse, and this leading to bitter, and embarrassing situations both in the friendship and also other relationships.

There, was a incident very close at home. A friend of mine, told everything, absolutely everything, about each person in his family when he got married, well almost on the first day itself..and the wives brother passes a comment on the friends uncle, the next time he visits his wife's family. not only him, his whole family felt bad..

So what do you think...will you tell ALL secrets to your spouse.

Though I don't qualify for this poll now, but when I was married, I use to share everything pertaining myself, but as for as my family members and relatives are concerned only postive aspect of their personalities.

I don't know about you, but, most of the time husbands are curious to know if one had any past and I didn't have. IF one has had any affairs in past, one should be very careful in divulging that as males always don't take it sportingly, even if they themselves have had an affair.

Not really sure.......depends on the seriousness of the secret and also there is a variety called open secret...where everbody thinks its a secret known only to them but the whole world will know abt it........

I agree with you that we should never share our secrets to people who are not trust worthy and I have seen many times that people will misuse you. It is always to keep few things to ourselves.

Sorry for not coming in earlier to thank you all for participating in this poll.

Now the result is really interesting. a slight margin edging towards a NO- 48% and yes with 41%.
