| Thanks Vidhya. But it was not as if I took three unrleated concepts and wove together a lesson around them. The moment I saw the note on dinosaurs beating us by 25 times over, I was greatly troubled. Then I applied it to the two most popular phenomena - the mil and the new actor. I think, vidhya, any thread about mils or dils is always a hit in IL. Or ILites love dinosaurs? May be it is worth doing a research on this. Thanks for being there for the Bay Area Meet. regards, |

| Thanks Preethi. As you know my daughter's name is also preethi. I am in the US now and she is there back in India. As her mobile phone has some problems, I could not talk to her for the past three days. Seeing a post by you reminded me of my daughter. I feel like interacting with my daughter. regards, |

| I give up, Kamla. You are a better story teller. Mahabalipuram. Ajith having one hand on Asin's shoulders and the other under the earth digging for dino's bones. Maybe Asin is dreaming. And we shift the location suddenly to Venice. (It's a dream song, dear). They sing for 5 minutes non-stop. Back to mahabalipuram. A villain is seeing all these and is holding a gun against Ajith's back. Swish..... In one flip Ajith turns him down. Then another villain springs from the dark and is about to club Ajith. Suddenly the fossil underneath the ground becomes a live dinosaur and starts hitting the villain with its tail. Well, being a friend of a story teller like you, should I not at least pen the screen play for your story? And I am sure you can take some teasing too. I have asked for the secret of looking so young and chic and you are yet to reply. (You have the option of pmming me or mailing me) Dinos are awe-inspiring. They have ruled the earth for 130 million years. But they were still reptiles. Their DNA was less complex than that of a dog and far less than that of a monkey, not to say about us human beings. But gifted with a much more complex DNA and a bigger and better brain, looks like we wont survive for long as a species. Does God want to prove to us that "more is less?" I am not harsh on Ajith. Well, he deserves our sympathy. When he acts in 'dubba' films I still feel like Sachin playing in a local inter-school cricket match. Ajith knows dancing, fighting and all the skills needed for an actor. What he badly needs now is a good story. Or some advisor who could tell him which story is good and which is not. Unless he fills the gap in this area soon, he will have to give way for other younger heros. Well, I too like Kamal and have enjoyed most of his films. But he has a propensity to go nuts in every fifth or sixth movie of his. Love, sridhar |

| Dear Varalotti!!! After a long while, I was browsing through IL to catch up. The caption of your article caught me by surprise and pulled me onto opening the link. I am really excited about the fact that you are trying to give variety in your theme(please! dont think that i never enjoyed ur earlier snippets, they were lovely! , but my nature being greed for something new, this caption triggered my actions into this lovely world once again:)). The topics-- Dinosars, Universe, Tsunami etc never cease to excite us, not because we want to get into geology /astronomy, but if something is beyond our reach, that is what we would want badly! If dinosars were to exist today, would you think you think you would be writing this article and we reading it? :) What surprised me was the comparision which you did between Ajith, Dinosar and MIL! Others may find it merely humorous, but I found it highly intellectual, informative and humorous at the same time! Brilliant work Sir!!! Please do keep the variety going.....!!! Hope you have a wonderful trip and come back safe! Lots of High Regards, Purni ( I am eagerly awaiting a thriller from your side-- haunted house still haunts me :))

| Hello Sir, Its so nice that you are coming to Eastern part. When your training will be over? Actually, I am asking this just to tell you that you should visit NY/DC before winter as the temperature here already started going down (50 F for last few days) and the winter is too chilly in NY and snow fall is another disaster here. This is just to inform you that please do visit these places as soon as you can before winter comes. And fall is the prettiest time here. By the way Sir, when you are going to India, we are also going to India in November 21 st this year and by American Airlines....... Regards. Meeta (Meaning of my name is Friend/Saheli ; Sweet is Meetha).

| Dear Purnima, Nice to see you too after a really long time. I am sure that my gimmick, as some would love to call this captivating title, has not gone waste. See, it has pulled in a reluctant Purnima over to my forum, after a gap of some aeons. Well my object in this thread was not to be funny or humorous. The thread is a lesson to be learnt in right earnest by dils (and some mils will also do well to learn this). Humour was just a side-kick which many enjoyed. Thanks for your wishes, Purnima. I am not going to write any thriller now. You might have heard of my serial SHE which appeared for close to 18 weeks in IL. It was downright controversial with instances of live-ins, lesbians and other stuff. When you have time please go through it. But unlike this thread that serial does not have a captivating title. But at times simplicity can be quite captivating. The name is SHE, suggested by a dear friend of mine. My next serial is going to be HE. The male version of that serial. It might be thrilling to read but surely will not be a thriller. thanks once again, sridhar |
