IFWD Launches Web Site

http://www.dairywomen.com

Madison, Wis. (August 27, 2007) — The 3rd International Forum for Women in Dairying (IFWD) is excited to introduce its new website: www.dairywomen.com. Designed to reflect the forum’s new look and feel, the site features event information, registration details and sponsorship opportunities.

"Our mission is to enrich the lives of dairy women by encouraging them to share challenges and contributions to the industry, and by providing a venue to learn, network and be inspired," says Kylie Quesnel, IFWD co-chair. “The new web site is designed to create awareness of the two-day forum. We’re pleased with the interest level already and look forward to generating even more excitement.”

Held September 28 to 29, 2008, in conjunction with World Dairy Expo, Madison, Wis., IFWD is in the process of developing the event’s agenda, investigating speakers and securing sponsors. Event organizers also are looking for international panel participants to share experiences with drought challenges, urban development and land value issues, ethanol use and its ramifications to the dairy industry, and animal welfare issues. If interested, please contact Kathy LaScala at (800) 255-5113, klascala@food360.com.

Originally started in Australia in 2000, IFWD is planned every four years with World Dairy Expo now serving as the official hub. For more information, please visit www.dairywomen.com.
