Thanks. When the research scholar started asking questions as if I were a celebrity, (eg. how can you write such wonderful stories etc - all flattering type) for a moment I lost my head. But soon gathered myself and told him, that when you practise long enough, and hard enough anybody can write. Writing, though difficult, is not like living along with 65 snakes, or back-walking for 50 miles. It requires practice, and that's all, I told him.

On this most beautiful days of yours we wish you many more years with us in IL and let the almighty bless you and your sweet family with more health, wealth & prosperity not to mention of the Divine Love.

It is really great that your works are chosen for thesis and another one in the Q. Maybe we can also blow our trumpets by claiming we are Varalotti's friends

Thanks. Since you did the bhoni, let me confess something to you. It was only after I entered IL (circa June 2005) that I got published. My first books came out in March 2006. And your fb helps me to redefine and improve my stories.

When a really wow poetess of this site says a wow, it's potency goes up a hundred fold. I think I will copy this post of yours into my system and read it every now and then.
I am in a way a people's child. As a flower I require caring, loving people around me to blossom.
About two months back I was down with so many rejections, with my publishing project getting delayed and other reasons. I shed my ego and called up a lady fan of mine. She is a retired bank officer and my ardent fan.
When I told her my mood, she told me kindly, "Sridhar you write well. These rejections and delays are nothing in the context of creation. Just keep on writing. Why not you write a fresh short story to let's say, Vikatan?"
There was some magic in her voice that made me do what she said. I got the story ready in two days and once it was approved by my resident editor I sent it across to Vikatan. They published it in the shortest period of time.

I thrive on people, on their love and affection. I get enough of it in IL. par ye dil still mange more!

You are right, Sudha. Even I didn't believe. That's why I did not post the news till I saw the thesis with my own eyes. That guy has done a thorough research on Jannal and in future if I have any doubts or questions regarding my stories, I should ask Ramasubbu.
And you are right again about there being more stuff on line in IL than any where else. In a way I am happy that I have done my part for the posterity. (of course will continue to do that till I live and I can write)
In fact I have asked Ms. Tamil Selvi to register as a member in our site and read my writings. That way she'd get a better perspective of my short stories.
Thanks a lot, Sudha. Yes, Preeth is just pulling my legs. But she has a policy of not uttering any good word about my story in my presence. But she will go and boast to her friends about my writing.

Thanks a ton, my dear brother, Gopalan. It is really a thrill to know that some one, especially some one of your stature is blowing the trumpet on my behalf. When you do the work, even the trumpet gets a good image, and they may have to look for some other idiom to convey the blowing of the trumpet.
I am happy to know that you are showing my writings to your family members. And you have not told me what did they have to say on my writings.
