But when the entire IL is addressing her as Chithra (or even Chith) why should you suffix "Mami" and frustrate her?

Thanks for the nice words you have about my writings. In those days we were only 100 members in IL. I being a pampered child did not want to leave out any forum. I was there in the Recipe forum the beauty tips forum the teenage forum, (I crossed my teens only 9 years back), marriage forum... everything.
I am really happy that you enjoyed reading all those articles.

thought I will add this to clarify & settle the name matter.

Chitra mami with her post and advices and maybe her age has made such an impression that I just cannot call her chithra. She is just like the next door mami for me who can always help me out in everything under the sun. She is on a very high pedestal, more respectful - that is why I prefer mami.

Now Sridhar please you don't start asking whether you have not made an impression. You are like my long lost friend with whom I can talk anything without the fear of misunderstanding.
