| Dear Chithra, This story was written even before SHE. But for the kidnapping of the person's son-in-law this is a real-life story narrated to me by a senior chartered accountant. This CA about 75 years old is a fan of mine. We had a few minutes to kill, some one year ago, when we were in his client's office. He narrated these incidents. I immediately sought his permission to write a story on that. He readily agreed. I have now lost his number and I am not sure how to get in touch with him. Let's see how God intervenes in this matter. We normally lose our cool when some thing bad comes along. To be able to love God and have faith in one's Guru in times of adversity is the index of high spiritual growth. Thanks for being the first, Chithra. love, |

| Dear Sundari, thanks for the great words. Many times we lose faith in God and in our Guru. In fact if a person is sad or if he is in grief, then to that extent he has lost faith in God. A person who worries actually blasphemes God Almighty. Quote:
The right Guru will come to us when we are ready for her. (Guru need not always be him) And two, even a Guru is a message sent by God to us, just to reinforce Her love for us. thanks for the fb, Sundari. regards, |

| Dear Priya, thanks. In fact one of my distant cousins who read the story called me up to ask, "sridhar, what are you trying to convey through this story?" And then I quoted the lines which you have quoted in your post. I don't know whether he is convinced. God knows far better than us. And so is the case with Guru. When we ask something from them, it means that we are letting our little intelligence block our way of progress when the greatest intelligence is ready to give us the whole world. Faith and love are the thing that matters. In fact I have written a whole book on prayer, God and our love for Her. I am now convinced that the book will see the light of the day when God so wills. Thanks for the fb, Priya. regards, Quote:

| Dear Usha, Thanks for invoking God's blessings in my favour. This is almost a real life story narrated by a senior chartered accountant known to me. I embellished the story a lot and dramatised it a bit. But the Thirupathi incident is true. Now that I have taken you to Thirupathi, I think I have the punyam too. One feature of Thirumala is that when you wait for long and finally stand before the deity you don't have any demands. You just melt in love before the very embodiment of Love. Thanks for the fb, Usha. regards, Quote:

| Dear Usha, Well said. When things go well we take the credit and when they go bad, we conveniently shift the blame to Her. Good or bad, wealth or poverty, health or disease, life or death, everything is His prasadam. I am happy to see that you enjoyed the story. regards, Quote:

| Hello Prana, thanks a lot for your kind words. It is flattering to see your excitement. Convey my regards to your husband. regards, |

| Dear Sindhuja, I think I will gather a lot of punyam taking you all to Thirupathi through this story. Yes, in my very young days I have been into the temple along with the Jeeyar. Andha sevai kidaikka rombave punyam panniyirukkanum. In this story the Guru is from the Madhwa tradition. I hear that this Guru has a right of worship in the Thirumala temple. I am moved to see that this story brought old memories to you. Quote:
