The Desert Festival!!

Did you know about the Desert Festival??
No?.....Then here I have some interesting information for all of you...IL's...

The Desert Festival is held in Jaisalmair, Rajasthan,in the month of
February.
The Desert Festival exudes the delightful spirit of this desert land.
For three days, the otherwise barren land of Jaisalmer comes to life and is clustered with hordes of colourfully dressed people.


Some cherished moments of the glorious and illustrious past and a rich culture are on display. The traditional dancers and the audience seem to be on a euphoric trip.



The Turban Tying competition and Mr Desert contest add a touch of excitement to the celebration. The traditional Gair dancers leave the crowds enchanted by their thrilling performance.!!

Many "Cultural Events" take place...which are very intriguing...


A very amusing event is the "Camel Race"...


"Camel Races" continue...and thrill the audiences...


And if all this is still not interesting,...here is the best bet...
the man with the best moustache...
"Mr. Moustache..."


The experience is exhilarating.....
