• Sa (Shadaj) = Do Types of compositions
• Re (Rishab) = Re
• Ga (Gandhar) = Mi
• Ma (Madhyam) = Fa
• Pa (Pancham) = So
• Dha (Dhaiwat) = La
• Ni (Nishad) = Ti
• Sa (Shadaj) = Do

# Taal
The rhythmic organization is based on rhythmic patterns called Taal

# Types of compositions
Dhrupad, Khayal, Tappa,Tarana, Thumri, Ghazal.
